The broad nature and flexibilty of the Aspire Supported Living housing solution makes it ideal for a wide variety of disadvantaged citizens. As such we receive referrals from an equally wide range of referring agencies.
At the point of generating this page our referring agencies currently include:- Fry Housing, Midland Mencap, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust, Mind, Aquarius, Aspects Care, Midland Heart, The Probation Service, HMP Hewell, Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and a long list of other similar and valued organisations.
In all cases where referrals are made we always follow the same process, of additional assessment, risk based property selection and of course ongoing support tailored to the needs of the individual citizen. The support delivered is in the main there to enable the citizen to maintain their tenancy, however we do have a very broad range of elements that are included within this. Included within this support is a vocational and training focus, social engagement element and other longer term viewpoint segments.
Where citizens are referred to the Aspire Supported Living system we always strive to ensure that ongoing communication is maintained with any involved referring or external agency. With these two way channels open it enables support to be further tailored to ensure goals and aims of both parties (and of course the citizen) are made as achievable as possible within appropriate time scales.
Where a new referring agency contacts us, with an expression of interest in our system, we are always more than happy to meet with them to offer a more detailed explanation of the whole Aspire Supported Living solution. This can of course be delivered at the agencies own offices or ideally, if possible, at our Birmingham based office and training complex. Meeting at our own facility enables us to demonstrate and show those specific training and vocational facilities that have been put in place for our citizens.
In order to complete a referral to Aspire Supported Living we simply require a fully completed referral form to be emailed or posted back to our Tenancy Team. These forms, and other useful documentation can be found within our downloads section.
